Fine detail can be achieved with the jewellery engraver. Images or text so small you need a magnifying glass to read are still an option, although not recommended. I have done a piece in French (not a language I know) 1mm high, and the words could be made out when magnified, so the work can be very delicate. Please note that you provide pieces for engraving at your own risk, and whilst all care is taken with your work, and to date I haven't stuffed one up, it is still possible. It takes time to do this work and 90% of that time is in the setup and testing the layout. The actual diamond bit engraving is the quick part! One of the trickiest bits is actually taking a photo of the pieces as they are small and highly reflective 🙂
